Seasons are finally changing and so are my day to day products!
This past month I fell in love with several new things and “refound” some of my favs that I always bring out this time of year! When the seasons change there’s always a weird transition time and especially with Texas weather you can never tell what to be prepared for. Heading into the winter season, some of these items will be amazing to have on hand, others will just be great to fall in love with for all seasons! Heres my top favs from the month of October!
Blue Shampoo and Conditioner
So. I’m not sure if I’ve been living under a rock or anything but just recently I heard about BLUE SHAMPOO! I had no idea that there were such products for brunettes and now I’m in love! It wasn’t until a few years ago that I started lightening my hair. I love the mix of color in my hair to help add texture! My natural hair is jet black, no mix of anything inbetween. But when I started coloring my hair, I noticed I started losing the color a lot faster no mater how hard I tried not to wash it as much or use color protective hair products, nothing seemed to help keep the color longer! But as soon as I used this, GAME CHANGER! I highly recommend to any brunette out there, or anyone trying to keep the darker tones in their hair strong!
*TIP*- When washing, I keep both products in a little bit longer than usual for shampoo and conditioner and try not to get my hair wet once its lathered in. I feel like this helps the product really work its magic and get a better soak in my hair!

Target: Sparkling Water
Found this little gem on a random Target trip and I love! I’ve always prefered their sparkling waters, they’re just enough flavor and water without having a funny aftertaste like some tend to have. Also, just like before the rebranding, an 8-pack is only $3! Perfect to last a full week if you wanted to. The flavor linked (Strawberry Mango) is my current fav but I plan on trying more they all just sound so amazing!

Space Heaters
A space heater is ALWAYS a must! I’ve had mine since college and its absolutely perfect to have around especially when living in an apartment. When the weather is extra cool in the mornings and evenings, it’s great to use in your bathroom for after you shower or before bed when you want to be extra cozy! Linked ours here but really you can’t go wrong any of them out there! As always be sure to read reviews and waranties!
I also wanted to share my MINI space heater/fan that I keep at work! It’s so little and stays out of the way. It’s safe and work environment friendly, no noise, no access heating or wind!

Candle Warmer
Whether it’s for having company over and want to create that nice seasonal smell or just for extra coziness, candles are always an necessity this time of year! But sometimes, I’ve noticed with my candles, when they get low or nearly gone, their wicks go away. With a candle warmer you still get to heat up the wax which is what releases the smell. I found a decorative one at AtHome recently so I recommend there if not I’m sure places like Hobby Lobby, Kirklands or Amazon could have some too. But the one linked here is another one that I’ve had for a while I usually stick it behind something and hide the candle or use it as a mug warmer! Perfect for sipping coffee in the morning!

Old Navy Outerwear
I have not had the time yet to show these to y’all on stories yet but I promise I will soon! But this past month I ordered outerwear from Old Navy because of the amazing sale that they had going on one weekend! (don’t worry, it will come back, it was the second time I had seen the sale come up already) I knew this season it would be time to retire my older coats and college style outwear so as soon as I saw the sale and these styles I knew I had to give it a shot! So I ordered 1 puffy vest, 1 puffy jacket and 1 fashion coat (I was feeling adventurous), and I love them ALL! For the puffy styles I was really looking for a casual version of a coat and vest for athleisure-ware and things like that. These are perfect for just that! So warm and soft and not loud at all for the material (I always feel like puffy outwear makes a bunch of noise). For the coat, I’ve never had a printed coat, just always had a staple black peacoat (which I believe everyone should have), so I was trying something new and fun! This coat is long but not exactyl at duster length but longer than a peacoat too. It does not have a sinched waistline so I believe it is more flattering left open but of course for warmth purposes, button it up!
