It’s that lovely time of year where things are all pink and rosey! If I’m being honest, I like this holiday more for the decor and kindness than for all the mushy gushy stuff, haha! I love celebrating friends/loved ones and just doing something kind or gifting them with the smallest something to make them smile!
Because of Covid, like most things, Valentines will look a little different this year! I hope this post is helpful to find some ways to celebrate the best that you can! Even if you can’t be with your besties or loved ones, a text or FaceTime call to share your appreciation for them will always go a long way!
Gifts are always lovely to treat your loved ones with something that you know they’ll like. But you can also show your appreciation through acts of kindness! Here I have lists of both, on the banners below you will find shoppable images that will direct you to the exact product when you click on that image.
Here are a few ideas for gathering/date ideas. Of course, please proceed with gatherings at your own comfort and safety. Just wanted to provide some fun at home ideas to celebrate the holiday! On the banners below you will find shoppable images that will direct you to the exact product when you click on that image.
DIY Home Decor
This year was the first time I did anything decor wise for Valentines and I’m loving it! This little DIY was so easy to make, it only cost me $12 in yarn and all I needed was some cardboard and stencils (print outs or cookie cutters will do just fine). I love this idea because you can select yarn (or whatever material) that best matches your home decor! I went with some more muted reds, pinks and ivory. How-to video can be found here.
